Senate health committee Chairman Lamar Alexander today asked Dr. Anne Schuchat, director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about the Measles outbreak and why parents are choosing not to vaccinate their children at today's hearing, "The Reemergence of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases: Exploring the Public Health Successes and Challenges."
