EDGERTON, Kan. - The Kansas Department of Health and Environment issued a boil water advisory for the public water supply located in Edgerton.
The city water supply experienced a loss of pressure in the water system because of a system malfunction. When that happens, it is possible for contaminants to get into the water. Chlorine residuals may also drop to levels that are inadequate to protect against bacterial contamination.
