Where the public health community goes to learn

Dear Colleague:
CDC Learning Connection (CDC LC) is pleased to present the first Spotlight of the year, Emerging Infectious Diseases. This spotlight features learning products and resources that can help you inform, prevent, and respond to infectious diseases and other public health emergencies.

The CDC LC also highlights an article that offers continuing education (ce) from the Emerging Infectious Diseases journal; a peer-reviewed open access journal published monthly by CDC. 
    • Analyzes the prevalence of trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole resistance among E. coli clonal group A (CGA) isolates
    • Intended for those who care for patients with E. coli infections; provides information on how to evaluate global epidemiologic trends in Clonal Group (CGA)

    • Describes the ways in which diseases decline and then re-emerge
